In a world of large businesses that are impersonal and difficult to navigate, we seek to provide personalized service on a smaller scale. Nothing is more important to us than that our clients are seen, heard and valued, and that the quality of the product they receive is as exceptional as the customer service they experience.

Our Story

Tom has had a passion for woodworking since he was little, helping his grandfather, a cabinetmaker, in his workshop. Tom grew up on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, in a small logging town called Quilcene, Washington (also famous for oysters!). He spent summers working for a highly-respected local home builder, learning the finer arts of construction (finish carpentry in particular). But even more important than the construction process, Tom learned what it means to work closely with a client, listening to their needs and turning their visions into reality, and ensuring the client’s needs are prioritized above all else.

Tom met his wife Angela at college in Salem, Oregon, and they were married after graduating. Tom and Angela lived in Puyallup, Washington for four years before relocating to Vancouver, Washington in 2007. They still live in Vancouver with their two kids, one dog and a cat.

Tom supervised commercial renovation and restoration projects for four years before becoming property manager of an owner-operated, 92-unit multi-family housing complex. All through these years, Tom continued to pursue his love and passion for woodworking, and in 2021, resigned as property manager and founded his company, Inner Harbor Woodworking. He now works full-time as a custom woodworker and finish carpenter.
